In winter there are 15 marked hiking trails kept open and maintained which cover more than 90 km. A hiking brochure with a map and detailed description of these trails is available free of charge from the Tourist Office.

| · | GENERAL 4-Vallées - includes all resorts and the MONT-FORT glacier (an enormous area) |
| · | VALAIS CARD - this provides access to over 30 ski resorts and thermal baths in the Valais region (the largest ski area in Switzerland) |
